Charlie's 2026
Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Walk
Each year, we walk in memory of our daughter, Charlotte “Charlie” Marion Krol, and in honor of the countless families who carry the weight of pregnancy and infant loss. What began as a small step forward in our grief has grown into a movement of remembrance & support - and this year marks our fifth annual PAIL Walk.
This year, we are honored to support Sweet Grace Ministries, an organization that holds an incredibly special place in our family’s story.
Shortly after Charlie died, we received a care package from Sweet Grace filled with resources, comfort, and reminders that we were not alone. Among those items was Charlie’s funeral gown. At a time when we were being asked to make decisions no parent should ever have to make, not having to choose something for our daughter to be buried in lifted a weight we didn't even know how to carry.
Four years later, we have the opportunity to give back to an organization that once showed up for us during one of the hardest moments of our lives.
This year's walk will take place on September 26 at Heritage Park in Mt. Sinai, serving as a kickoff to Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.
Together, we’ll walk in remembrance of the babies who should be here, say their names, and surround their families with the reminder that they are never forgotten.
This walk is for every family that has said hello and goodbye in the same breath.
Thank you for walking with us, remembering with us, and helping us give back to the organizations that continue to show up for families when they need it most.
